Howdy, and welcome to hoffmanhomeschool.com! We’re mighty glad you stopped by.
These Terms of Use are our way of making sure we all know what’s what when you use our site.
If you don’t cotton to these terms, just tip your hat and move along.
No hard feelings, but we do mean business.

1. Purpose and Use

  • This site is here to help homeschoolin’ families with resources, tools, and a little bit of know-how.
  • Everything you see—resources, assessments, ID card templates, and more—is for informational and educational purposes, not as a substitute for formal legal, medical, or professional advice.​
  • We know the laws, and we keep things up to date, but you’re the one callin’ the shots for your family.

2. Not a Substitute for Professional Advice

  • While we do our best to stay sharp and give accurate info, nothing on this site is meant to replace legal, medical, financial, or other professional advice.
  • If you need official guidance, it’s best to talk to a qualified pro. We’re not your lawyer, doctor, or accountant, but we do know what we’re talkin’ about.​

3. Tools, Assessments, and ID Resources

  • Our quizzes, placement tests, ID card templates, and other tools are here to help you make smart choices for your homeschool. 
  • You can use the Homeschool ID Generator to create an ID that shows you’re a homeschool teacher or student, and you’re welcome to submit it to places that accept homeschool IDs. However, we can’t guarantee every place will accept it—some might want a government-issued ID instead. This ID is not a government ID, and Hoffman Homeschool is just the name of our homeschool and our website.
  • You’re responsible for using these resources right and followin’ all the laws

4. Acceptable Use

  • Use this site for lawful, homeschoolin’ stuff only.
  • Don’t try to cause trouble, disrupt the site, or use bots and scrapers. We want things to run smooth for everyone.

5. Intellectual Property

  • Most of what you see here belongs to us or is used with permission, and it’s protected by copyright and other laws.​
  • Feel free to print and use things for your homeschool, but don’t go sellin’ or claimin’ them as your own.
  • Keep our name on anything you use, please!

6. User Content (if applicable)

  • If you ever leave comments or upload anything, make sure it’s legal and respectful.
  • By sharin’, you give us permission to use your content to keep the site runnin’ right.
  • We can (AND WILL) take down anything that don’t fit our standards.

7. Third-Party Links

  • Sometimes we link to other sites for your convenience.
  • These links don’t mean we’re vouchin’ for ‘em—just helpin’ you find what you need.​

8. Donations and No Sale of Materials

  • Donations are appreciated, but not required.
  • Our stuff is for personal, non-commercial use. Don’t go sellin’ or profitin’ off anything you get here.​
9. Privacy

  • We respect your privacy and explain how we handle things in our Privacy Policy.
  • By usin’ the site, you agree to our privacy practices.

10. No Guarantees

  • We provide our site “as-is.” While we do our best, we can’t promise it’ll always be perfect or error-free.​

11. Limitation of Liability

  • We’re not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages from your use of the site.

12. Indemnification

  • You agree to protect us from any claims or losses if you misuse the site or break these Terms.​

13. Governing Law

  • These Terms are governed by Texas law. Any disputes will be handled in Texas courts.​

14. Changes

  • We might update these Terms now and then. If you keep usin’ the site, you’re agreein’ to the changes.

15. Severability

  • If any part of these Terms is found invalid, the rest still stand.
